Task

         Notfo Real School is in need of a new playground.   The principal, Ima Fake, is holding a contest to see who can come up with the best plan for the new playground for third, fourth and fifth grade students at her school.  Since it’s children who play on the playground, she wants children to design it.  The only requirement Ms. Fake has for the new playground is that it needs to incorporate the use of at least 3 simple machines - she doesn’t want the students to tire themselves out by exerting too much effort while playing on the playground. 

 

  

 

   

 

   

 

   

Your design must include:

· a detailed drawing of the new playground

· at least 3 simple machines

· each simple machine must be labeled

· a written explanation about how each  piece of equipment that makes use of a simple machine works
